Suzanne Wheeler

Suzanne Wheeler is a HCPC Registered Psychologist and BPS Chartered Forensic Psychologist. Suzanne was employed by HMPPS for 20 years, becoming qualified in 2004. During her employment in HMPPS, Suzanne worked with adult and juvenile males. Suzanne's experience in HMPPS included facilitating Offending Behaviour Programmes as well as undertaking bespoke interventions and assessing for risk of harm.

Dialectal Behaviour Therapy (DNT)
Suzanne has considerable experience of assessing risk of future offending, her previous roles included risk assessments for parole, and risk of violence posed within prisons.

Suzanne was the Clinical Lead for the Specialist Interventions Unit and Head of Psychology and Interventions at HMP Manchester. This role included undertaking Risk Assessments, bespoke intervention, and Supervision of Forensic Psychologists in Training. Suzanne is currently the Programme Lead for the Postgraduate Diploma in Forensic Psychology Practice and the MSc Forensic Psychology Programme at Manchester Metropolitan University.
