Nina Preston

Nina Preston is a Registered Forensic Psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council and Chartered Psychologist and Chartered Scientist recognised by the British Psychological Society. Nina qualified in 2012.
Nina is trained and experienced in:
Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) - to an advanced practitioner level
Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR)
Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP)
Nina has over twelve years of employment within HMPPS as a Psychologist and has specialist skills acquired from working in dedicated personality disorder and high risk/high harm units. Nina also has four years experience working within the NHS, applying and advancing skills in the formulation, assessment and treatment of adults and young people in the community at risk of harm.

Intellectual Functioning
Nina currently offers private therapy utilising 'a systemic approach to therapeutic care.' She is also an academic supervisor for Forensic Psychologist in Training studying at Cardiff Metropolitan University and for students on the Forensic Psychology Doctorate Programme at Nottingham Trent University.
